Protein powder doesn’t have to just be for post-workout shakes. You can get creative in the kitchen with your protein powder to create sweet treats that no one will believe are healthy.

Strawberry Chai Shake
This is the closest thing to a strawberry milkshake without any of the added sugar! This shake is great for breakfast or even as a pre-workout afternoon snack to keep the hunger pains away.

Combine all ingredients (except the chia seeds) in a blender until your desired consistency is achieved. Top with chia seeds in a chilled glass or bowl.

Chocolate Strawberry Protein Bars 
Chocolate covered strawberries don’t have to be saved just for special occasions. This recipe from Protein Pow is the perfect way to satisfy your next craving for something sweet.

Ingredients:

Combine all ingredients together using a food processor or handheld blender. Shape the dough into bars. Melt the 4 big squares of dark chocolate (40g) and line a tray (or plate) with aluminum foil. Dunk the dough into the melted chocolate and place them on the tray. Finish with half a strawberry on top of each bar. Place them in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours. (until the chocolate is hardened)

Very Strawberry Protein Cookies 
You can thank Andrea for these cookies that are the perfect “guilt-free” treat. It is also pretty versatile because you can switch out ingredients for your favorite fruit or preferred baking flour. The smell of these baking alone is worth giving this recipe a try!

Ingredients: 

Instructions:

Start by pre-heating the oven to 325F. Take the 1 cup of strawberries and pulse them in a food processor a few times, or mash them by hand. Combine all of the dry ingredients into a bowl, add in mashed strawberries, and mix well. Line a tray with parchment paper, and spoon about 6 cookies onto the sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes (or until the cookies are firm). Let cool for about 5 minutes. Enjoy!

Be sure to store any leftover cookies in the refrigerator.

Strawberry Protein Cheesecake
First of all, deserts can be healthy. This strawberry protein cheesecake is the perfect recipe when you want to splurge, but not mess up your healthy diet. Muscle & Strength made this recipe, so you know it is approved by people looking to build a strong, lean body.

Ingredients: 

  • 2 scoops SFH FUEL Whey protein powder, strawberry flavor
  • 12oz fat-free cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ¼ cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup xylitol/stevia or other dry sweeteners
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 tbs. Sugar-free chocolate (optional)
  • Strawberry Toppings (optional)

Instructions:

To begin, pre-heat the oven to 325F. Line the bottom of a 6″ spring form pan with parchment paper. Spray the pan with non-stick spray. Add cream cheese and xylitol to a bowl and mix using an electric hand mixer. Add in one egg and mix, and then add in the second egg and mix again. Continue to add in the greek yogurt, vanilla extract and protein powder and mix. Pour batter into pan and bake 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 200 degrees and bake an additional ~45 minutes (Cheesecake may appear as if it is not set, however it will finish and set while chilling in the refrigerator. Do not overbake) Place in refrigerator for 6-8 hours or overnight to finish setting. Finish with any toppings of choice (if desired)

Strawberry (N)ice-Cream
This recipe was inspired by our friend Mellisa at Well Fed. This (n)ice-cream is so good, you will not even notice is not the real thing! This is a perfect nighttime snack that minimizes your sugar intake and gives you a little extra protein before bed.

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender (or food processor) until the mixture reaches an ice-cream like consistency.

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shake
